What is the technical intern training system?

The technical intern training system is a system in which foreigners are accepted at Japanese companies for a certain period of time (up to 5 years) and the skills they acquire while working are transferred to their home country. Through skill development in developing countries, we play an important role in international cooperation and contribution by helping to develop human resources for economic development.

Acceptance of trainees

For the acceptance of technical intern trainees (first year after entering Japan), a quota is set based on the number of full-time employees of the implementing organization. However, if the technical intern trainees currently being accepted move on to their second or third year, new technical intern trainees can be accepted.

The number of full-time employees does not include technical intern trainees. However, if there are two full-time employees, we will accept up to two people, and if there is one full-time employee, we will accept up to one person. (Omits agriculture and nursing care)
